My son and I would like to try fencing, but I’m having some difficulty finding somewhere for absolute beginners. Thanks for your help.

East of the Cooper Fencing takes beginners. New classes start in the fall at the Daniel Island School. You sign up through the City of Charleston recreation department. I believe sign up will begin in July. But check with the recreation department to be sure.
Are there any opportunities before Fall? For example, will the Tue night group meet in summer and if so, can a 13 yr old beginner join?

The season is winding down and we take the summer off.
