Mount Pleasant Recreation handles the administrative part of the fencing lessons. See their course catelogue for prices and times. The cost of equipment is separate, just like for soccer or baseball. It’s pretty really reasonable.
We currently live in Kenosha, WI and my son (9) is taking fencing lessons at the local RecPlex. My husband is considering a transfer to Charleston and I am looking for information on fencing lesson availability and cost for our son. He has been fencing for a year but is still very much a beginner (no dedication or will to practice has kicked in ….yet!). Right now, it’s just fun and we’d like to continue if we move.

Having taking signed up for fencing lessons once every Tuesday at my school, I was curious as to see if there are any classes for 16 year old beginners. So I can improve outside of that small practice.
Info please?
Most Saturdays there is fencing on Saturdays on Daniel Island. See http://eastofthecooperfencing.wordpress.com/2008/11/24/open-fencing-sessions-on-saturdays/ for details or call Coach Thad Schmenk; his contact information is listed on the About page — http://eastofthecooperfencing.wordpress.com/about/
When are classes for adults and how much are lessons?
Hi Kyle, the best thing to do is call Coach Thad. You can reach Thad at 843-697-1528 or ThadSensei@hotmail.com.
